Chloe Doughty and Kaytlin Norman, Lake City High School Freshmen, have been chosen to attend Baker College's First Generation College Student Program! The First Generation College Student Program will provide supportive programming and resources to help first-generation students matriculate to college. The program's focus is to teach self-advocacy, communication skills, building social capital, creating resiliency, encouraging perseverance, and college readiness. Kaytlin and Chloe, with successful completion of the program, are guaranteed scholarships renewable for four years. Congratulations Kaytlin and Chloe! Just another great opportunity for our Trojans!
